About Altranais Care

Altranais Care (meaning “nursing” in Irish) is a specialist NDIS provider offering high‑intensity nursing, complex health support, personal care, and holistic disability services across Western Australia. Our organisation is co‑led by Martina, a Registered Nurse with a PhD, and Helen a qualified Social Worker and Wellness Coach with more than a decade of experience in the disability sector.

Together, we bring a powerful blend of clinical expertise, social‑care knowledge, and a shared commitment to compassionate, person‑centred support.

Martina’s PhD research focuses on social‑emotional support for nurses and patient safety through effective teamwork, shaping the strong clinical governance, communication systems, and workforce wellbeing culture at Altranais Care. This research foundation ensures safe, consistent, and evidence‑based care for every participant.

Helen complements this with extensive experience across SIL, STA, ILO, daily supports, community access, and behaviour support environments. Trained in Person‑Centred Active Support (La Trobe University), and with qualifications in life coaching, breathwork facilitation, and compassion inquiry, Helen brings a holistic, trauma‑informed approach that enriches both participant experience and staff wellbeing.

Together, we lead Altranais Care with integrity, compassion, and clinical excellence — delivering support that respects individuality while improving independence, wellbeing, and quality of life.
